A little slow but delivers the message! We are in an increasingly frightening situation where people who aren’t straight, white, conservative, and financially stable are subject to discrimination, oppression, harassment and hate. I do not understand the previous poster’s totally negative opinions about Celeste Ng, unless he knows her personally (doubtful). His post represents exactly the sort of fear and hatred that Ms. Ng’s book is trying to address. I suggest that anyone reading this book should open up their eyes and minds to what’s happening right under their nose!
