Ok. I keep reading praises about this movie from Stephen King among others and have seen other reviews saying this is the best shark movie since Jaws. Well, those people must’ve been drinking heavily before viewing because this is the worst movie that I’ve seen in a while. It takes elements from Jaws and Deep Blue Sea and turns it into a hard to watch B-list movie. Why in the world would Lillith, a mutated, asexual reproducing shark(producing sharks by the hundreds exponentially as the babies mature and also reproduce) of immense size create an army of sharks that would proceed to devour every creature in fresh and salt water? The end result would be that their entire food source would become quickly consumed and their only choice would ultimately be to cannibalize each other. Generally, mutations aren’t meant to facilitate the end of a species. If you’re in to movies that make absolutely no sense whatsoever, you may be able to struggle through it but I wouldn’t advise it.
