For the effort and artistry, James Hood's visual experience was undeniably intriguing and immersive. It felt akin to traversing through his subconscious while he was on LSD. This experience is unlike your typical planetarium-style films. Instead, it was a visual meditative journey, plunging your occipital lobe into a kaleidoscopic immersion, reminiscent of vintage Windows PC screensavers.
Despite its captivating visuals, the experience falls short in its claim of being a celebration of life. Moreover, its runtime of 60 minutes seems excessive, as 30 minutes would suffice, since you will likely become sleepy.
The message was nice: be kind, celebrate life, be magnificent, etc. If this is what being on LSD is like, then ✅ we’re good, no need to put our brains through that again. Happy visuals!
