It's a personal story of a relationship between an writer and an artist. The writing envelops the reader into the stormy weather and quirky life of these two Finnish women who live on a remote island. I was rather shocked when it ended. I wasn't at all ready to leave it. Highly recommend for both the writing and the story it tells.
