Napoleon is a great story. the movie however is a different story. As I went to go into the cinema I thought to myself how can you f this up? Well they did. None of the intrigue nor guile was evident, nor the fascinating political and world environment. It all boiled down to some extended battle scenes and tawdry sex scenes. I am none the wiser about Napoleon than I was before I went in other than he had some weird obsession with a woman. They all spoke like they came from 2023!
