Dear season 2: did you not hear everyone saying season 1 was disgustingly gory and over-the-top dark? Why did you decide in this season to include more detail, longer frame time, and better lighting to the gore? Only sociopaths enjoy this stuff. The rest of us get that the bad guys are bad and the good guys sometimes end up doing bad things, but we're trying to watch this show while we eat dinner without throwing up.
Besides that, I still don't get why they changed so much from the books and I think the show isn't doing a good enough job of explaining what's happening for people who didn't read the books recently because even I'm having trouble following some of the plot and I read the books. This show is more concerned with the art of videography and costuming than it is with telling a good story and that really bums me out because it's based on an epic story.
