Despite the bad reviews I really enjoyed this. Does it pander to nostalgia, yes of course, but accepting that it was great fun and captivating. The scenes between Rey and Kylo Ren in particular are suspensful and build on the mythology established in the previous film, of a link through the force so strong it is able to bend physical space. Would watch again!
