I enjoy light RPGs where the mechanics are straight forward but rewarding, more "SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech" than "Octopath Traveller".
This game perfectly scratches that itch. There are varied characters, fun different fighting styles and a great sense of progression. And it's super easy to dive in without having to choose from an unwieldy list of options as you get in many RPGs.
For $15 it's well worth your time.
