Horrible movie. The dad is horribly self-centered. So much so he was easily played by a pretty face. Oh its ok that your 16 year old daughter is ruining around in clubs and cults. Hes had a past with not keeping a good eye on the kiddo. But the cults agenda is the most confusing plot point. They set in motion a detailed plan on how to recruit the Father of the Year. This cult seriously needs to get a PR group. She says their numbers are dwindling. Yet kills novice members and tries to get the dad to join by kidnapping his daughter. Then when the dad obviously says f*** off, the rest of the members say oh well we tried and commit mass suicide by fire. What was the frigging point to any of this. Other that the dad gets another cheesy chance to save his daughter from drowing. Eric and Sadie gave it their best shot, i guess. But this is just a really bad movie.
