I am so angry with this show. It completely threw out everything that happened in the original book series. Honestly if you’re not into YA tropes then you shouldn’t be watching this show. It is an embarrassing example of what happens when the movie rights to a book series falls in the wrong hands. The Mortal Instruments, written by Cassandra Clare was beautifully done. I get some changes are necessary when transferring over to a cinematic universe, but this was so horribly done. Almost nothing of the original story is left in this show.
