I love to watch this movie over and over. All of the Actors and Actresses did a fantastic job. The movie shows how way back in the day people came together to help one another no matter what the circumstances were. They prepared fresh food together, spoke honestly, loved hard, shared their life experiences, partied every week, looked out for each other and gave the young boy a lifetime full of possibilities that he would have never learned had he not visited the house or even lived in when his parents relationship started to fall apart.
