A movie about one piece of land and who occupied it over time. The concept may be interesting but it doesn’t translate well into a movie. None of the families who live in the home have their stories developed very well and the constant transition from one family to the next gave me a headache. This is my least favorite Tom Hanks movie ever! It was silly and pointless and I just wanted to leave. I expected much more from both Tom Hanks and Robert Zemeckis. Don’t waste your time going to this movie.

I was very disappointed! Too many characters and plot lines to process. It did have beautiful scenery but I found myself looking at my watch too often. I haven’t decided if I will see the next chapters.
