Really enjoying. Read the books years ago . The multicultural makeup of the characters from the village is absurd but I like the actors playing the parts. It didn’t need to be done but at least they hired fine actors to play the parts. Way abridged but so far so good.

Haven’t seen it yet but I see reviews stating the hero is Mexican? Is it set in Mexico? Cool.

Watched this movie every decade or so since it came out. Love it every time. Great score and actors. It does have an anticlimactic ending but still a very enjoyable film. I always wondered if they were looking at a franchise if it’d been more successful?
