This movie was absolutely heartwarming! I cannot believe its ratings are so bad. This is possibly my favourite version of Cinderella. All the characters are realistic and very much human. It's very funny, but also touching. I 100% empathised with Sam and her best friend, Carter. I wish there were more teen movies where the actors actually act like teens! Outside of the theme of true love, I would say friendship and peer pressure also play a prominent role.
