Awful. I am in shock how bad this actually is. It's like it's trying to be assassins creed but not well. First who the hell thinks English towns ever looked like something out of a Disney cartoon. They never had creamy white tiled streets for sure. The whole things a bit contrived to be in some way cool. But it's trying too hard and misses badly. It's making me cringe to watch it. They rewrote the classic versions of the story which is ok but nothing radical. Most of the clothing looks more apocalyptic scifi than from its actual era so why not go full hog and write and apocalyptic version of the same story. Its neither one thing nor the other and dramatically disappointing. I normally love this sort of thing but I'm left cold and a little betrayed.
