I'm glad you guys decided to stick with Madden, because another NBA Live wouldn't even compete with 2K. I've heard so much hype towards this game, and after playing it myself, I don't get it. 2K is still terrible, I won't deny it, but it is still LEAGUES better than this piece of garbage. Animation/Dribbling looks like a trashcan was doing the animating, defending the inside scoring is awful (As I've literally watched a 6'1 guard score a layup while being smothered by a Forward, and Center), and the Shooting? Please just stick to attacking the paint. Refs! Oh my lord. The referees in this game will IGNORE half the fouls committed on you, but instantly react to you even looking in the direction of another player. I get this game is years old, but to hear the amount of appraisal towards it, and actually experience a game that's worse than what 2K has ever been, is sad, and a major let down. Overall: Animations are, at best, mid. Dribbling is just bad, very bad. Lobs are weird asf. Shooting is either green, or miss, depending on rating and difficulty (Even on rookie, you will still miss if rating isn't high). Defense plays horribly, and refs calling shooting fouls on everything is a pain. The game can be fun if you want to enjoy some basketball with friends, and not have to pay to play the newest 2K, but seriously, do not pay money for a game that is almost 7 years old. It's not worth the investment, and 2K will still always be better.

I can't find any enjoyment playing this game. Mechanics are broken, enemies are either too weak, or just stupidly overpowered, and grinding in this game is just jumping over hurdles. RNG in The First Descendant is the worst I've ever seen, and I've played 2K, and EA titles. Fifty patterns deep for an Ultimate Lepic Code, and not pulling it once is absolutely absurd, and chalking it down to poor RNG is an excuse. These drop rates NEED serious attention, or players are going to leave this game in the ditch it's still crawling out of.

Honestly, the game was going great...until I got screwed in a sequence with Kaitlyn, and I immediately uninstalled. It doesn't help that this game has the worst save feature in the history of gaming, and no way of reloading if you, 'accidentally,' choose something wrong, or the game decides to glitch, and fire the shotgun instantly, and causes a character to INSTANTLY die, and ruin an entire playthrough. Disappointment can't even begin to scratch the surface of 7 wasted hours for a game mechanic to screw me over. Thanks 2K, you guys are doing great!
