A MUST READ
This book is good on so many levels:
as a trip down memory lane for anyone that was part of the queer scene in New York in the '90s, or a study of what it was like to be gay in throws of the plague and the don't ask don't tell era, or a commentary on living your authentic self, without the shame society tries to put on us. David's tells his story with his usual and sometimes uncomfortable straightforwardness. It's a funny, sad, inspiring, angering and truly engaging read. I finished it in a single day, unable to put it down.
