I stumbled on Once Upon a Time in Venice because I am usually not a big Bruce Willis fan. One of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. John Goodman plays the burned out divorced man who loses everthing. When Bruce asks if he wants to ride shotgun he says, Is it Dangerous? Yes. Maybe I’ll die!” No, that is not Bruce’s butt on the skateboard. A young Jason Mamoa is almost unrecognizable with the bandana and East LA accent. It has got shots of Venice and the beach and it a micro view of the real LA scene. Loved it. Great from the Cullen brothers.

The Lost City was good entertainment, won't win any awards. The plot (finding the hidden treasure) has been done many times before (Jungle Cruise, recently) but the cast was great. Channing Tatum, adorable like a cuddly teddy bear, Brad Pitt, handsome, understated and funny. Oscar Nunez, the romantic Hispanic islander, who, you may remember as the crazy lounge dancer in Sandra Bullock's - The Proposal. Good performance from DeVine Joy as the never-say-die book agent; Bullock should get an award for staying in a sequined onesy for 3/4 of the movie. However, Daniel Radcliffe stole the show as the crazed, manical rich guy on the hunt for the treasure and showing up his younger brother. He was perfect in the role. Overall, worth the $22 I had to pay for ticket, soda and fries!
