I have played all the Pikmin games 1-3 (multiple times) and Pikmin 4 is without a doubt the best one. As someone who loved Pikmin 2 and how challenging it was, Pikmin 4 brings back upgrades from treasure, rewarding combat mechanics, and the cave system I missed so much. Pikmin 3 was a bit of a let down for me as you could beat it in less than 9 hours and it wasn't very challenging. Pikmin 4 was at least 24 hours of content and I haven't 100% the game. Bringing back purple and white Pikmin was very welcome and the new ice Pikmin feel amazing to use and they're available early for the entire game. I cannot recommend this game enough.
