I just watched on Netflix and like others, I had never heard of this before. I think the acting and character development were outstanding and the overall story was well written. It’s funny, emotional and and great “feel good” movie.

I don’t rate many shows but after watching season 1 I felt compelled. What an absolutely hilarious and heartwarming show with awesome character development that will make root for all of them. It has a fair amount of swearing and sexual talk so probably not for the younger folks, but I don’t remember any nudity. The back and forth between Gaby and Liz after they become close friends was hilarious and watching each character move through lives challenges and overcome was heartwarming. I HIGHLY recommend you grab some popcorn and settle in because you’ll be hooked and end up binge watching the season.

Okay, I don’t think this is a “Must See” movie or even a great movie but it is a few hours of an interesting story. The problem is it is very slow and the other characters were not developed well. If I had listened to the reviews I wouldn’t have watched but I love Sandra Bullock going back to 28 Days so we watched. Interesting plot twist.

Been watching this movie for too long, almost 3/4 done and none of us can determine what the plot is, what direction it is going, or what the characters are trying to accomplish. If we would have invested 90 minutes on Christmas Eve we would stop and watch Something else.
