I don't know what has happened to Spongebob Squarepants. The new episodes are weird, violent and have completely lost that charm that made Spongebob such a great animated show. I have been a fan since the show started, but it is getting to the point where I turn the channel because of the strangeness and uncharacteristic violence. I just watched the episode "Karen's Virus," and it was almost painful to watch. Please reverse course on this disastrous decision to turn a charming, funny show into something that is becoming increasingly unwatchable, violent and just downright stupid.
