I went in with an open mind. I hadn't really seen many previews and didn't know if it was going to be a remake or different but similar. I had heard it was a musical form but then would hear there wasn't musical moments bc the previews didn't really give any. I can't say the movie was completely horrible but it was kind of cringe and I almost walked out. There were some good moments and I like how some iconic lines from the original were used but there was so much that was missed. The flow of the movie felt off and almost out of order. It was definitely more sexualized than the original. Lots of flaunting the boobs. Which I did kind of do myself when i was younger to try to make myself feel better about myself but a lot of females are sensitive or have lower self esteem. I don't thing this helped in that category. Overall, I won't be seeing this again and will only be rewatching the original or even Mean Girls 2....which I liked better than this.
