I can’t tell you how excited I was to see this being remade! This game was my childhood and to see it come back with a modern touch made me even more excited. Watching the new and improved cutscenes had me in awe, that we’d be able to see a more dynamic angle to this beloved classic. However BLIZZARD decided to actually lie about the game they redid (they still have their unfulfilled promises on the Warcraft III: Reforged website) Never have I seen a classic tarnished by their own company like this. The game is — more or less — a copy and paste of the original, just with new model designs. The UI wasn’t touched up, which they promised would be fixed, the cutscenes were still the same as they were back in 2002, with maybe better sound design. I got my refund thankfully because I will not pay $30 to play a game from 17 years ago with only better graphics to its name. If they want me to buy WARCRAFT III: REFORGED, they need to give fans what they saw at BlizzCon 2018. Please do the right thing here Blizzard Entertainment. Please fix this. I’ll happily wait if that means this is done right.
