I was there at the beginning 42 years ago at Star Wars in 1977. It changed my world as a 9 year old. However, I was personally disappointed with the film. Great visuals, but fractured story telling and generally poor characterisations. JJ did his best, but the damage done by The Last Jedi did not leave him much to play with. Disney failed the Star Wars fan base with the final trilogy. They did not have a true story arc thanks to The Last Jedi. I will watch it again, just to see if I was wrong.
