I’m gonna start this off by saying i’m a huge horror movie fanatic. Meaning i’ve been desensitized to scary movies and everything’s predictable now. I love Blumehouse’s work so I went into this movie expecting a pretty decent film. It was better than I ever could have expected. It was extremely suspenseful, for one. I can always tell when things are going to jump out, or when there’s going to be a plot twist. This movie had me completely thrown. I didn’t know what was going to happen throughout this WHOLE movie. I left this movie more than satisfied with the film and how it was put together. On top of just making me scared, it made me jump, grip the sides of the seat, and cry. All of the elements of this movie make a beautiful production and if you have any doubts about seeing it, don’t. It’s so refreshing to have a horror/thriller movie that isn’t totally predictable, unrealistic, and poorly put together. I commend the producers of this movie. 11/10.
