First episode was okay. Good animation. Cringey lines littered throughout the episode (especially by Bucky). One liners aren't a replacement for jokes that are spread across the story (set up earlier then punch line minutes or more later).
[SPOILER]
The biggest glaring consistency issue was Cpt. Carter's strength. One minute she needs Steve to save her from the tentacles of the beast because she can't break out of them, then the next minute in that same scene she resolves the entire climax of the episode by pushing back the beast through the portal all by her lonesome. Seriously? She should not have been able to do that based on her strength limitation that was set a minute earlier in that scene.
This show will be interesting, but Marvel needs to remember that their success does not release them from the burden of good writing. Keep it consistent. Stan Lee used to "stump" in his comics about how each story was real to the writers and not just a throwaway. This first episode felt like a throwaway to me.
