As a big fan of Bily the kid history and been interested in his story since i was a kid and first saw young guns film, then read books and learnt about the facts and fictions about this legend i was utmost impressed with this film. The speculations that Billy got away because Pat Garrett (big casino) was a friend and travelled with Billy. This film creates a subtle fictional story of Billys surviving years without divulging to much about his character at first. Brilliant performance by Tim Blake Nelson and directed really well. All round nice film, screenplay easy watching and leads into good action Western. I like films like this that get the the point without dragging our the story like many films do. Really enjoyed it.
