CHARNELLE MONDY

My 9-year-old son is a voracious reader and was captivated by the unique steampunk world and characters created by Gareth Ward in The Traitor and the Thief (and it's sequel The Clockill and the Thief). He was so immersed in it, he created a costume to go to BookWeek as one of the main characters. It was also put on my bedside table to read. I enjoyed it too! Thank you Gareth Ward for creating a male character who is resilient, caring and a good friend and girl characters who are skilled, courageous and clever. As lovers of books, we think yours are wonderlicious (as Zonda would say)!
