As a production, this was a good movie. The setting was good, editing and soundtrack was good, and animatronics were super cool. However, in terms of the actual FNAF lore, it’s very watered down. It’s almost like a very new fan who only knew mainstream, surface level lore wrote the storyline. It’s like the movie got the gist with the general concept, but the names didn’t quite match, the ending was very rushed, and some of it seemed like lazy writing to me. I mean I absolutely recommend watching it anyways because it’s just a good experience being there with other FNAF fans. I wished it was written and directed by like a super fan so it was ALL lore based because that’s the whole fandom.
