People really bought the book without actually checking the cover, and then get mad when it's about a trans person smh. As a trans person, this book is actually quite relatable, but it's also funny and shows the reality of being a trans teen in the 2000s, especially as the word "transgender" wasn't exactly something people were used to hearing then. I don't know how people can compare it to porn, it's literally nothing like that, it's a man's memoir about how he grew up; transgender. There's a small bit of explicit content, but you don't see it read anything horrible. Nothing in the book is related to pornography. Loved it though, got it from the library last year and had to keep renewing it lol, my sister loved it too. 🤘🏻
