I played both the day one edition and royal. I wish it would have just released it with all the "royal edition" content. But kudos to square for fixing an okay game and making it great. The things i look at for games are 1 - gameplay, it is very fun with a few mildly annoying quirks in the controls and leveling system but still better than most games out there. 2 - story, great story that kinda branches out a little from the final fantasy norm but i loved it. Very in depth with great character development. 3 - Music, simply put it is fantastic. Up to par with the glory days on ps1. 4 - graphics, great graphics that add to the enjoyability of the game. 5 - replay value, the original not so much but with all the extra content in royal i keep replaying it. It has become my most played game. There is so much content it will be a while before I'm done. Looking forward to playing episode ardyn.
