Culture is very deep-rooted and given enough time , in many cases becomes almost indelible . It is very difficult if not impossible to immagine one'self as a different culture , but this book allows you to do so to some extent .
An easy and mind -broadening read .

Sagan's statement that " you cannot look after a world that you don't understand " is the backbone of the entire series . I agree with other reviews that it was (is) life changing .
