In short: It's really good and worth a watch. In length: Its has high school zombie apocalypse plot. Having played zombie apocalypse video games like land of the dead, gta zombie edition and resident evil in my childhood, i became nostalgic watching it. The back story along with the story that eventually develops is very solid. Its 'A rated' series and boy they justify that tag. There's a lot of blood, carnage and intentines coming out of people throughout. This series is clearly not for faint hearted ones as cgi is impeccable. The fight scenes are great, nothing overly unrealistic, martial arts used looks like it can be replicated irl. "Expect the unexpected" must be their moto as anyone can die at anytime! They don't hesitate in killing their primary characters but they give them dignified death so no complains here. There are a couple of heartfelt scenes which were nice. Some critique: Not enough excitment generated for season 2 as the story seems to be done and as of now i dont see any need for another season, almost no jump scares which was disappointing as without them it became of a thriller, action 'A rated' series rather than horror.
