I really don't know how much more loudly I can say this, Just give us a good show. I really wanted to like this show, but it just feels soulless, it reeks of not having people working on it who care. *Spoilers* in the star wars universe we see people survive lightsaber blows, yet a tiny 2 inch knife takes down a master no problem... They could have had fun with this, maybe include poison, or have the master be a different alien race with a known weak spot or just something... it is predictable from the plot to the interactions The interaction is exactly what you expect from "strong cool character" talks to other "strong cool character" - stop talking and have them do stuff! And not just the typical prove your worth duel and now we are best friends trope, again they could have had fun with this and made something really dynamic and interesting Bumbling side character who only exists to always be wrong, but isn't even in a comedic way, Once the ball starts rolling for the main character they can't be stopped everyone is bending over backwards to help them like they are meeting a deadline to finish, again so many missed opportunities for growth and interactions do they need to earn the trust with challenges or quests nah just go ahead I'll help you now throw logic and reason out the window. All these missed opportunities, had they been explored would have helped the show feel more complete but it has weird pacing and just feels slow and empty and like a checkbox for story beats with no time for fun.
