When I watched this for the first time, I was star struck. The VFX in Valerian are simply out of this world. (literally) Luc Besson's story is so captivating I found it hard to get up to get a refill of popcorn. It is based on one of his childhood favorite comics, 'Valerian and Laureline.' Right from the first scene on planet Mül, my attention was to the screen and nothing else. Two strong main characters, a beautiful world, and an amazing story. Five stars for sure!
