The book started out strong with an engaging storyline and premise. Midway through the book, the author either lost her way or decided to change course. Characters started using modern day colloquialisms and the book became rather shallow, like a cheap romance model. I could not finish it, maybe the author got on track in the last 1/4 of the book.
