Spoiler warning Overall I think this movie is overhyped but it doesn't deserve that much hate. I am personally not a fan of Owen and Claire in this movie, I think their characters are kind of flat and predictable, especially Owen. Their acting and storyline are much better in Jurassic World and maybe Fallen Kingdom. I did not grow up with Jurassic Park movies so I don't get the nostalgia when seeing the JP trio in the movie, but they did pretty well and are not forced to fit into the story and their writing and acting are good (don't expect it to be as good as JP) It is still a very good movie and is far from the worst. much better than the Fallen Kingdom and JP3. It is not forgettable as some people said, there are actually some really cool and unforgettable dinosaur scenes, badass action scenes, the effects in this movie are the best in the franchise and the dinosaurs look really realistic. The music and sound effects really gives you an unforgettable watching experience. We also get a better character of Maisie Lockwood and Dr.Wu. It also feels like a good conclusion to the franchise. However, this film needs more suspense. Honestly, this has the least horror compared to the previous Jurassic movies. There are some good scenes like the whole chase scene in Malta, and the Therizinosaurus and Giganotosaurus scenes. But the rest are a bit boring and predictable for some people and ruins the movie for them. Even the T-rex isn't attacking anyone. The Giganotosaurus scenes, while cool but are too short. There are some plot holes as well, like what happens to Malta after the dinosaurs are released. I personally really enjoyed the film but I can understand why some people hate it. I think they need to: - Make the dinosaur fights longer. - Hurt or even kill some good characters to add suspense and horror. - Aside from making them fight each other, the main dinosaurs like the t rex or blue should try to chase and attack the main characters. - Make the Giganotosaurus a joker dino as the director has promised. Make him mess up the Biosyn facilities and kill people and innocent dinosaurs, destroy the Biosyn outpost just like the Indominus in Camp Cretaceous. There are so many missed opportunities to do with the Giganotosaurus.
