Hot Seat follows a simple story of a man (Kevin Dillon) sitting on a bomb with a hacker watching him and Bomb Squad Recruits (Mel Gibson) trying to detonate the bomb.
Look, in Hot Seat's entirety, it's a movie that should of been made during the 90's but still does smooth during now. As normal, Mel Gibson's acting is top notch and does not need to be fiddled with. Kevin Dillon's acting is also alright, I guess, but the movie suffers from a Low Budget and partly side actors/characters suffering from bad acting.
Hot Seat wasn't as bad as most people implied during the release of the trailer.
Long Story Short: It's a good movie to watch when you have nothing else to do but don't take the movie too seriously given the fact that 'Hot Seat' was entirely filmed within a span of 7 days and had a very low budget.
