Mr Bharadwaj changes the crime-drama genre to drama-crime. Let’s accept that the build up is not of typical crime, the tension is not palpable, the layers are not that hidden. But that is this show’s USP. The director did not want to. The breaking of fourth wall is so nicely done, actors are all top notch, the screenplay, music, dialogues - all a moving poetry. An underwhelming detective main character is a great touch too. Be open in exploring a different treatment and this show will not disappoint.

They couldn’t convey the essence of the character by making him over dramatic. The show was too preachy. Sunny Hinduja is a brilliant actor but the core of his character here lacked the depth which was so subtly portrayed in the Aspirants. The example of an IAS interacting with a state CS officer was spot on in previous series. Here it is too gimmicky.

Again, outstanding! Does it again.
