Spoiler Alert. This is my first review because Netflix needs to listen. I used to love movies. They draw you in, and you forget real life for 2 hours. At first, this movie's great animation really drew my attention. Later the kid character, Maisie, suddenly becomes this very wise, see all perspective, all knowing KID, so unrealistic. I realized, it's a woke propaganda. Whatever, fine. But it's so obvious, and over shadows the movie, that it ruins the movie. It was too much, had too much. I hate watching movies where you are constantly pulled out of the movie to complain about story plot holes, technicalities, bad voicing (Maisie), and for this movie in particular, the pc message which is NOT what Maisie says at the end. It's we're going to want to burn all our history books and question everything we know about history. Fine, you have a right to make that kind of movie. But as an avid movie watcher, I want to be taken away for 2 hours into the world of the movie. Do better at delivering. Movies aren't what they used to be.
