There is a stillness in this movie, it does not move in terms of story but gradually forms layers of emotions. Best about batra is he doesn't give outright happy or sad ending to movie. Do not watch this movie for story but but for nuanced performance by Nawazuddin ( who plays a photographer At gate way of India) and Sanya ( a CA topper). Grandma role brings some light hearted dailogues otherwise its a silent movie and she becomes clear winner in this movie. She is one who is window of emotions and connection to real world.

I am so glad to see a movie that speaks volumes without lengthy dailouges. It is true we understand life in wake of death. Pierced through deep layers of emotions. Fast fwrded many times bcause of my lack of patience . . . Very close to life
