Born and raised in South Africa, we watch both Hollywood and Bollywood movies. It was a gory, bloody movie with gratuitous sex scenes. The love of a son for his father was bandied about but sadly the rationale didn’t gel with the story line at all. Bizarrely, this Bollywood movie is reminiscent of a movie about Russian mafia. The Bratva was replaced with Sikhs, infidelity, mistreatment of women and families was the order of the day. I predict that this genre is going to explode in Bollywood as everyone gets on this mindless type of show. Very sad that Bollywood movie makers think they are cutting edge, it’s quite the opposite!
