Being in US for a long time, didn't know about this serial. I came to know when started seeing the Porus and the new Chandragupta started. So decided to watch the 2011 one and literally watched continuously. Splendid piece of art. Congratulations to Ramanand Sagar ji's team and cast. I was surprised to see it end with the 1st ascension of Chandragupta to the throne. Would have been good to see him become the Samrat of the integrated India. It is a great way to educate the new Indian generation in Indian history, culture and values propagated by the great thinkers and leaders like Chanakya. Only word of caution is for the detailed research and facts to maintain the authenticity of the message and preventing the younger generation from loosing faith in our values. Such serials are more educational using the powerful international medial and should be done with responsibility. I am seeing basic anomalies appearing with the telecast of the new Chandragupta; In the new serial, Durdhara is sister of Dhananand while in 2011, she was shown as the daughter. Such distorted facts if telecasted will only confuse the audience making them never to believe in the Indian history, culture or values. They will only consider such valuable heritage as a hoax especially the children in the west whom we are trying to keep attached with their roots and values, So, please consider. Regards Arvind Jain
