I am not a Catholic and only went on the recommendation of a friend. I really loved it. I just read a review where someone didn’t like the score - but I thought the music gave it the push forward drama. I expected to be bored so I was so pleased that they could make voting on a new pope so entertaining. The actors all are so good and they had several of my favorites! I think it is worth the watch.

Really a great movie about the human spirit, relationships, and, of course, the aliens! Definitely worth seeing and highly entertaining! So well acted! His movies never disappoint!

Riveting fictional account of civil war here in the US. The performances are stellar - Kirsten Dunst's performance was spectacular. The war from the persepctive of the journalist was creative. It was vague enough to let you consider a lot of things, and specific enough to make you want to ensure we never have another Civil War in the US. It also made me think about all the lives lost in our first Civil War. Jesse Plemons is always fantastic as a bad guy. He is compelling and scary as hell. It was the perfect movie to see in a theatre. We went to a Cinemark that has the XD theatre with the seats that move and shake with certain parts of the movie. It was well worth the time and experience.

It seems like it could be a good movie - but the camera is constantly shaking - even in group therapy scenes when it would be best if it was still. The constant shaking is so distracting and even makes me a little nauseous.

We just saw this movie and we were so moved by it - courageous and brave - all the people who got involved doing what they could. A definite must see - and Anthony Hopkins - as always - is stellar! Would love to see insights from the foster families in a future documentary.

Awful - super sappy. No connection with characters. Adult jealousy does not a good holiday movie make.

Excellent movie - I had already read the book and this movie is very powerful with amazing acting. It really brought the book to life.

Super fun musical - as a huge fan of all versions of A Christmas Carol, it was fun to see this spin. I love Octavia Spencer fan and really enjoyed her in this movie. So far I've watched it once, listened to the music on spotify once, and will most certainly watch it another time before Christmas.
