My daughter loves the “old” episodes. Sometimes I watch them with her and it brings me back to the great writing from then. The episodes seem so artificial and forced now. I wish it could go back to the greatness it used to be. I love this show and watch it no matter what. But, I find myself wondering if I am like my mother who continues to watch the daytime soaps? I cannot understand what she likes about them, and they are crazy and don’t make any sense, but she doesn’t care. I just hope a new season can brush below the surface.
