Arguably the best in class for true-crime documentary series. Absolutely stunning.
Anyone with a 1-star rating fails to understand that Michael isn't meant to be the protagonist. This series is designed to bend your mind by relentlessly challenging your perception of reality - the viewer's relationship with Michael can shift so dramatically from one moment to the next that you're left questioning more than what's on screen. The fact that we're primarily given the perspective of the accused reflects the "advantage" given to defenders in the US judicial system.
