Just finished The Cellist and I found it to be the least of Mr Silva’s works. Having read every one of the Gabriel Allon novels, I have to say this will be the last although I know I will gladly re-read many of the previous books. Silva’s pushing his political viewpoints on the reader and making creepy Joe Biden, who has a hard time remembering his name, out to be some sort of hero turned me off completely. Very sad to say this is the last new Gabriel Allon book I will buy.
