Democracy Now! brings us important news that most media ignore or downplay. The one topic that consistently gets extremely biased, skewed, one sided reporting, is the nation state of Israel. As a Jew, this is especially disappointing as Amy Goodman is the granddaughter of a rabbi and her morals and ethics are consistent with Jewish beliefs, except when it comes to Israel. I would appreciate interviews with people who know about and support Israel from a different perspective. Regarding the current Israel bashing about the Golan Heights; I have visited the areas in the north and have seen how the Heights need to be made inaccessible to those who would stand on the mountain and rain terror down on the farmers. Indeed, the farms have underground bunkers to protect the workers. The Golan is less than one percent of Syria but a very crucial place to those who wish to live and thrive in Israel.
