gossip girl circa great depression. fantastic performances all around.
loved the details around "steam heating" being a big luxury, the Mayflower really being a thing. some contrived stuff around the deus ex machina on the money stuff at the end and the marriage at the end felt a little off, but otherwise a masterpiece.
