Forget what those idiot critics say! Midway does a fantastic job of representing the true events leading up to and surrounding the Battle of Midway with a reasonable balance between historical accuracy and typical movie dramatization to make it more engaging. For a film length only being 2 hours and 18 minutes, they were able to fit a good amount of history in that relatively small time frame with all the bases they wanted to cover without causing unintentional confusion to the audience.
